Phoenix Mode

written by: Sharona Reeves

I was there during Her death
Sat there and watched as She took Her last breath
Knew then and now had come and gone
Life's tune no longer Her theme song
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
Life revived
a fire lit
I am Her and She is I
Inside a soldier
Solid and fit
Renewed youth
Reset to live

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Live by your own standards.
