remembering you

lost in patterns
of the mind, drifting;
and dropping into a void
from talking about you,
reconciling you,
remembering you;
while your still sturdy
standing tall
on the highest peaks
with your feet perched
right above the edge
of oblivion
grabbing your weaknesses
trying to take you down,
furthering my existence
in this dark abysmal abyss
seeing you shining above
causing my skin to crawl
potent of jealous fumes
wanting your world
to be like mine
destroyed distraught dismantled
it seems you got off easy;
as you continue your ways
into a world unmarked
unscathed
unharmed;
while i am cut so deep
that no amount of stitches
can stop my bleeding.
