- Where, do you hail from?
I hail from Alhambra, California. I have lived in this town all of my life, and I am grateful for receiving my education locally and with close proximity to my home.
- What is the greatest thing about the place you call home?
I love how my home is near Los Angeles (also known as “The City of Angels”). I also like how a lot of the places featured in the 2016 musical film La La Land is somewhat close to my own residence.
- What turns you on creatively?
Cinema and literature, including the novels by Jane Austen, the plays by William Shakespeare, and the modern style of Virginia Woolf.
- What is your favorite word, and can you use it in a poetic sentence?
My favorite word is “grandiose”
Example = “Without being too verbose, please make writing grandiose to increase the chances of having written words accepted for publication”.
- What is your pet peeve?
I have a distaste for lazy people. I am the complete opposite of being lazy, but I must also remember to not be a “workaholic.” After all, moderation is essential to a happy life! Thank you, Aristotle!
- What defines Alex Andy Phuong?
I am a well-read writer, an altruistic author, and a dreamer who hopes to inspire the ones who dare to pursue their passions passionately!
