Start Of Something Good

Her words are like a needle, piercing him,

Filling his heart with joy.
He’ll give you his apologies now,
For he cannot be saved.
He doesn’t deserve to, yet he’ll adore her,
Though he fears he cannot be saved.
He doesn’t want to, though he’ll inform her,
That he does not want to be saved.
These drugs have him placed in a trance,
And feels he must keep his space.
He chose to remain
At a simple, steady pace

This could be the start of something good.

He sees the way they are,
Just so amazing
Though it’s her, he fears, that he is also craving
In her ear, he longs to whisper
Sweet, sweet nothings.
Beautiful, like smooth shining silvers.
Is he the one worth saving?
He’s well aware it’s not normal.
To feel so much pain
Life now, complete turmoil.
But with her,

This could be the start of something good.

His blood looks so warm.
He is dreading this change.
And though, he regrets it, he needs this bliss
The only other way to get it…
Is out of sight, locked,
Right behind one more sweet kiss.

This could be the start of something good.
