I’m Gerry, I was born and raised in Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada. Growing up there I worked a plethora of part-time jobs and met a cast of characters that have blessed me with the fodder for many a story and poem. I played in local bands and gained a strong sense of performance and a dash of stage presence. The parade of life marched on with meeting my wife Lynn, then children, career, and life in general. Victories, joy, loss, sorrow, friends, and adventures. Art walked with me in many forms, and a pen was never very far away. Poetry started in high school. I am a constant rambler and talker, hence story is my second language. Now I write most days, thinking of writing always, and live and thrive on lovely Gabriola Island, British Columbia, Canada. I must add that Dagmara and the Spillwords crew, fired my imagination and gave me a voice. I am so grateful.
