NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A black and white image, mostly sky with clouds and birds, loosely drawn. The right-hand side is occupied by the silhouette of a building under construction, top section still skeletal, and scaffolding also visible in silhouette. The words of the image occupy a cloud in the top middle of the image in black Brush Script Std Medium font.

I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
