The Dusk Wheel

With the fiery light
Lashing out a spray
Fount of orange / plum
To navigate low light
From seven sisters side
Descending in twilight
Hold your caws
For the hunt begins
And all can devour
They mock your distress
A lure being strong
Fool some to come
Into certain demise
Darkness through this tree
Not to rattle a leaf
And sleep open eyed
The dusk wheel
Rising in the hills
In a moment still
Before the kill
They will wait
