The Strand

written by: Anne G

Like so many pearls on the strand of life ...

sorrow - a world of tomorrows

tears - of years so well spent

regret - no, you'll never forget

allow - for the healing of time

never - forget you were loved

dream - let a new day begin

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
