Without Haste
written by: David Maynard
The beauty of the stars at night
Are dim in comparison to when you look at me right
Arms welcoming with a warm embrace
Make me love you without haste
My heart wants to shower you with love heal your pain
Be your heart’s shelter from thunder lighting rain
A heart that is cherished tried and true
Like the moon at night or skies of blue
I hope these words find you unweathered
In sync with my heart as I write each letter
A love like ours will surely sustain
Until infinity is all that remains
