You Think

You Think

written by: Irena Ewa Idzikowska

translated by: Artur Komoter

you think
it’s rain
but it’s just condensed
longings hitting on the glass like
an alarm because

his deaf heart
cannot hear her feelings
cannot hear
his deaf heart

you think
it’s snow
but it’s just white dust
of love they breathe frost as
he she in between

her heart weeping
every night and every day
and his heart deaf
as ice as rain as

condensed longings
hitting on the panes
like an alarm
and you still think that
it’s just rain rain rain

MYŚLISZ

written by: Irena Ewa Idzikowska

myślisz
że to deszcz
a to tylko skroplone
tęsknoty biją w szyby jak
na alarm bo

jego serce głuche
nie słyszy uczuć jej
nie słyszy
serce jego głuche

myślisz
że to śnieg
a to tylko biały pył
miłości zieją mrozem bo
on ona pomiędzy

jej serce płacze
w każdą noc i dzień każdy
a serce jego głuche
jak lód jak deszcz jak

skroplone tęsknoty
biją w szyby
na alarm
a ty myślisz wciąż że
to tylko deszcz deszcz deszcz
