Stars in the Shuttle Path

On this night the sky had a glow to it I could not understand. An 'other' shining not from my soul.
We nodded, wondering would we be wiped out by this force of celestial light exploding
causing tree roots through one hundred years of earth to shake and cry.
We could not hear them from within our floating maze.
