Millions of lights
they all lead me to you
Hands dirty
Mouth dry
Dress torn
All through the night
I found you in trees
In the soft moon light
Called out your name
But you never turned
Back scratched
Of fury of desperation
If only I could get your attention
Walking
Crawling
At this point all the same
In a moment of glory
In a second of pain
I’m broken
Soft spoken
In the dim light of your glow
As I enter
Near tomorrow
As if you
Would ever come
Millions of lights
Lead me to you
To that place
Where we said our last goodbye
Soft night
Hard day
If you have nothing
That’s all I’ll take
Dream sweetly
My dear
As tomorrow I will dream you
Only to have you near.
