Some of The Things We’ll Take With Us When We Move

written by: Sally Armstrong

A sacred heart, three guitars
all the scented candles in glass jars
I love you on a post it note
that blue fur coat
the picture you like of Doris Day
those framed paintings by Fiona Rae
my Nana’s tiny green glass frogs
her pair of miniature wooden clogs
three flying ducks for the wall
the yoyos from when the boys were small
your Mum’s boxed set of silver cutlery
all the cups, cups, cups for never ending cups of tea
