WITHOUT CAUSE
written by: James Hatfield
I will rot your name so that any breath that carries it will foul.
I will infuse the memory of your every deed with repugnant intent.
I will scrawl curses upon my body with shards of your confidence.
I will split my veins and cause all I meet to drink in the hate of you.
I will fill my lungs with the sooty smoke of your innocence.
I will wash my face with its ash and low glowing embers.
I will do all of this while offering you the arms of a brother.
I will do all of this while you think me a dearest friend.
