I Wish I Met My Father As A Man

I wish I met my father as a man

written by: Mickey Mason

your father shouldn’t be liked, he should be loved

your father shouldn’t be befriended, but your greatest rival

the rival you hate like the pressure that hugs rock to diamond, blood to throne

your father is the sharpness,
the roughness,
the crafter of your soul
your man
your character and wise

your father shouldn’t be liked, he should be loved
