If Love Exists

If Love Exists

If love exists
Then show yourself
Before nothing’s left to salvage

If love exists
I would still feel whole
Despite this wear and tear of immortal soul

If love exists
As it verily must
Show yourself ere I turn to dust

If love exists
But needs must be hid
In dreams become my noblest deed

Love exists
Love makes me long
Pine for a place where I belong

Without love
I would not be
This tenderness I yearn to greet.

If love exists
And it must be so
Invisible, yet with me it goes.

Love exists
Within without
Both mine, and yours, without a doubt.
