Junction

I used to stop at the temple by the road corner…
While he went straight to the mosque ahead,
I used to stop at the temple by the road corner…
While he went straight to the mosque ahead,
But the destination was the same for us,
As prayers; after all don’t have a religion.

Main gali ke mandir pe Rukti…
Wo seedha aage masjid ko jata,
Main gali ke mandir pe Rukti…
Wo seedha aage masjid ko jata,
Manzil to humari lekin ek hi thi,
Duaon ka aakhir; koi dharm nahi hota.
