A Deep and Terrible Death

written by: Joe Russo

@josephrusso8

I deserve a deep and terrible death,
Punish me,
Sentence me,
because I lied to you and
Then you lied to me and we
Murdered, stomped on,
Shot, our hearts,
Our trust for each other.
Don't waste your time, darling boy,
On tying a noose or loading your gun,
No,
Instead let my punishment
Be
Having (LETTING) you love another.
