A Very Satisfactory Life Indeed

Many the days of delectation
gratification and contentment …

a word
a glance
a warm embrace
a lingering kiss
a tender touch

Your kindness of spirit
and generous heart
the knowledge you’ll greet me
when I get home

Pleasurable moments prized above all
‘the little things that matter most’
a very satisfactory life indeed

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
