A Fool With Many Faces

A Fool With Many Faces

The fool wears many faces,

But I have only one,

For every smile and tear it fits,

And for all but fault of mine.

A man on one side,

A girl on another,

And between nothing more than air,

To bring two sides to one.

A smile on the outside,

A scream on the inside,

They try to hide,

But they fail.

For ever a fool,

For ever merry

To dance from responsibility

And inner solemnity.

A fool for life.
