sun slowly goes below the horizon
cold wind breeze touches the skin
waves kiss the seashore
slowly coming back to senses
melancholia engulfed this soul
shooting pain felt in the heart
teardrops borne from eyes
as soul moves forward
white sand beach touches her feet
tonight, this soul cried a river
for a love that has ended
before it came into life
adieu, for now
someday, it is all yours to blossom
promise, heart beats only for you
for a lifetime, forever and beyond
“till the last breath of this soul.”
