An Ocean of Grace
written by: Greg Massey
@PoemCrafter
Those eyes are in my mind’s eye
like dark diamonds that glisten
along the seashore of your soul
where I watch them dance between the
raindrops of your thoughts
I’d like to sit with you in some
corner booth cafe and divvy small
conversations that carry with them the
weight of the ocean
I’d like to share songs
to keep communication alive
when our voices need rest
I’d like to lose my breath
upon the first casual touch of your hand
and find it again while watching the stars
beneath the canopy of a giant oak
I’d like to know
what it is
that you like.
