Black

Black.
Death.
Vile.
Unclean.
The shade with no shade.
It is blinding while walking in the dark.
It is an illusion,
and deception.
Black shuns the light
and kills the soul.
It hinders the progressive step
and mars the production of life.
It is boastful and rude;
arrogant in its commonality.
It destroys all that is hoped
and hoped for.
Black,
the path of the wayward and confused soul.
It is the color without color,
void of life,
and misdirected.
Black,
ignores reality and diminishes truth.
It suffocates the breath of life.
Black
will be relieved of its existence
when purity is sought.
Black,
an unworthy opponent;
a murderer of the mind.
Black, just be vanquished.
