a funeral cat

beautiful and confusing

every single day

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: An image in just black and white. A black cat sleeps on top of a coffin, backlit by a full moon. The coffin sits in a bed of roses, and the sky is full of stars. The haiku sits above the cat, also backlit by the moon, in loopy, cursive, Bickham Script Pro Regular font. Created in Adobe Photoshop Elements.

I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
