Knocked Down

I knocked aptly upon the witch’s door.
Not once, nor twice, nor thrice, but four.
She greeted me with eyes so sharp,
then pierced them through my vagrant heart.
I collapsed right there, my body withered,
mumbling “’tis a package, ma’am, I hath delivered!”
