Lay Me 'Neath

written by: Anne G

Lay me 'neath that lovely tree
amongst the flowers of my dreams
where grasses grow and zephyrs flow
where nature dwells all seasons long
a place in time all but forgot
awakening soul my spirit soars

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
