I want to be a library,
Filled with every book,
My books would be so interesting,
they’d grab you like a hook
I want people to read them,
And then they’d finally see,
How hard it is sometimes,
Just trying to be me
I want people to read them,
Maybe they’ll finally understand,
I want them to read them,
And like me for who I am
My building would be tall,
For everyone to see,
There would be no shadows,
No more corners for me
I would no longer be scared,
Finally everyone could see,
Not only who I am,
But how amazing I could be
I’m 15 and ever since I was 12 I’ve loved using poetry as an outlet to express my feelings and emotions. Robert Frost is my favorite poet and he’s who made me really get into poetry. I would love nothing more than for others to read my poems and for once feel like their life has meaning and someone understands.
