Mother, You’re Not Near…

Mother, You’re Not Near…

Mother, you’re not near,
Wish you were here,
To discuss what I fear,
As those ears had the patience to hear,
In the face of adversities, you stood like a wall,
Always your voice of support was there for me when I call,
That assurance kept me firm in my path,
Which really seem hard after your death,
What was yours had left us in that pyre,
Nature took back everything through the fire,
Memories are the only thing left for now,
To continue with them is what I have to figure out how,
Wish I could believe in the power of your stories,
Like the explorers during their capricious times,
Found their way using the help of celestial lights,
Travelling through uncharted waters discovering new sights…
