My Aura

My aura is like a Christian’s faith
Soulless in this mortal plain
Yearning not to be in the lion’s den
But seeking refuge above all sin
My aura tells me to remain calm
That faith findeth thee
But pain is all I see
Sorrows of story I can not speak
I go now wish me luck
Even though I have no return
For that which I seek
A gladiators redemption
So my secrets are laid bare
My aura is my guide
That reminds me when it’s time
For victory and glory is mine
Through my journey I keep that in mind
David Osarumwense Asiriuwa popularly known as Dpeniel is a young Nigerian poet who finished his secondary school at Rising Hope Academy and is currently undergoing his Higher National Diploma HND in federal Polytechnic Auchi studying mass communication. He believes that the world can be a better place and the only way through such path is by getting a proper understanding of life and looking out for each other, think together and grow together.
