Sanctuary

Sanctuary

written by: John Drudge

The soft skin
Of a precious moment
A shy smile
Offered up
To the harboring sky
You are my
Refuge from the day
A salvation of need
And the ticking second hand
Of my deepest desires
Wanting for nothing else
As I wait for you
In the corners
Of my silence
