The Haunting Embrace of My Black Hole

The Haunting Embrace of My Black Hole

written by: Dibyangana

When did it all end? Or had it never begun?
Maybe I was just living in a house of illusions,
And suddenly, I’ve been thrown back into reality.

So what? I dance, party, and live in this reality,
But you—my backstabbing knife, lodged behind my back,
Seeps deeper with each twirl I take…
As blood dries with time, the wounds reopen.
They bathe my heart in a new soap of grief and heartbreak.

Night falls, and that’s when I let my tears flow.
But the weight of your loss is stuck too deep inside me,
Like a stone lodged in my throat,
One I can neither swallow nor spit out.

I cry—my sobs shake me,
As the void you left behind pulls me deeper,
Into the bottomless depths of nothingness,
Like a black, black hole…

And so, I’ll drift, an aimless wanderer,
Lost in the dark void, searching for a ghost that’s already gone.
