Wrung Soul
written by: JahArt Kushite
O! wretched soul wrung in agony
The world turns dim, the vastness
of darkness creeps upon every
atom of your existence
You are dazed with no prospect,
hope or consolation
Your soul void and the mind
feels numb
Deserted and forsaken from
the walk of life
The forces of the dark chain your
body and soul in shackles and
manacles of death
Clasped in hands of no return,
the wings of time drop you off board
Standing on a precipice, the dark
abyss yawns at you
Whence the broad embrace of death
awaits welcoming you at the gates
of the so called home
Where pain and suffering exists
no more.
