LET US LIBERATE THE SOUL FROM CLOSETS

Blinkered outlook and myopic perceptions,
Averting eyes from inner self’s manifestation,
Dissuading ourselves of the feelings of sensation,
Ending in our own created frustrations.

Why we are being our own doom prophets?
Why we have imprisoned our souls in closets?
Let us draw from out innermost being’s treasury,
And allow our souls to sing a never-ending symphony.

White keys of mirth and black keys of misery,
Both are pressed in life’s piano to make a symphony,
It is time to experience this flash of epiphany,
Let us rejoice in this perfect symmetry.

Let the vibrations of strings of soul create harmony,
Making melody of peace to last till eternity,
Trod on the road that leads to serenity,
Riding the waves and tides towards divinity.

Awaken the beauty that lies in our hearts,
Let peace and bliss radiate through our thoughts,
Love is the only mystical and magical power,
Let us all drench in love’s perennial shower.

Poet K.Radhakrishnan lives in Bhopal city, India. Born on 4th November 1955. He is a underwriter by profession and worked as a senior level executive in NEWINDIA ASSURANCE, India's largest General Insurance Company till his retirement. He is engaged in consultant activities and insurance education. He has co-authored three insurance text books for NATIONAL COUNCIL OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND RESEARCH(NCERT), INDIA. He has a passion for writing poetry which he pursued after retirement from his job. He writes in English. Though started writing poetry only from February 2016, the poet has wrritten over 600 poems which have been highly acclaimed all over the globe. The poet has won many poetry contests and have about 50 certificates awarded by many international facebook poetry groups.
