Spring is a Lady
An Ameri-Ku

Spring whispers her secrets like treasures
as painted trees bend with an abundance of flowers,
pine trees celebrate as male cones liberate
thick yellow pollen trembling at the sight of female cones,
spring is a lady, birthing passion, love, and color
for she is the mother of dawn, evoking dreams, like no other
NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:
The AMERI-KU follows all the rules of the EURO-KU. The EURO-KU was copyrighted along with the specifics of this new form by Francisco Bravo Cabrera on February 2, 2022.
During the 17th century, the British colonist that came to North America began incorporating poetry in their writings. As it is one of the most ancient forms of literature, it is a way of expressing American culture, thoughts, attitudes, our sense of individualism, political views, and the American imagination and the beauty that surrounds us.
I published and copyrighted the first AMERI-KU on March 4,2022 with Francisco’s Bravo Cabrera’s permission.
