Beware The Yule Cat

Beware The Yule Cat

you better watch out, you better not cry;
better wear your hat and gloves
or the yule cat may come out to play—

he is not a cute kitten,
but a large beast
ready to
devour those who aren’t adorned;

so spare those you love
and yourselves—

make sure you’re properly
adorned in these cold
temperatures
so the yule cat doesn’t
come out to play,

because there’s no ball of yarn
large enough to satisfy this creature.
