Spirit’s Vision

As I interact with visually challenged students,
I see their sensorial sight diminished,
Yet gifted in spirit.
Spirit is shining bright,
Their approach towards life with
Perseverance, determination and sense of helping one another,
Amidst and beyond challenges,
Creating their own path and identities,
Captured my heart and
Opened my mind’s insight,
Experiencing beautiful moments of Inspiration!

I find some kind of happiness and satisfaction in volunteering my little time reading, scribing or helping visually challenged individuals.
Dr. K. Srikala Ganapathy is the founding editor of Science Shore. She has passion for academics. She is a University rank holder in undergraduate degree and completed her PhD in botany, interdisciplinary microbiology. She has presented research papers at various national and international level seminars and conferences and also won several awards and prizes for her presentations. She is passionate about teaching. She is involved in educating and motivating students community. She is also involved in reviewing and editing of science articles of scientific journals. Apart from academics and teaching, she also loves drawing and is interested in Vedanta study. She believes in life long learning and living her life to the fullest. She lives in India with her beautiful family and is a happy, proud and blessed mother of a caring and intelligent BITSian daughter.
