Chorus of A Dawning World

written by: Anne G

An ode, a song

a springtime tune

chorus of a

dawning world

a lark, it's trill

a pigeon's coo

sparrows, finches

twitters, tweets

and the hummingbird

warbles, whistles

clucks and caws

an owl's hoot

tu whit-tu-hoos

chirps and cheeps

quacks and squawks

a rooster's

bird land chatter

clock's cuckoos

musical cacophony

chorus of a

dawning world

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
