Nimble coyote
bounds onto road before us;
leads, then sprints away.

Coyote, fabled
"trickster." At mountain vista,
please be good omen.

Dingo Man Dreaming:
kin of coyote in red
and purple wild lands.

Hear coyote's call,
eerily shattering night's
silvery quiet.
