Crimson Shadows

Crimson Shadows

written by: Veronika Zora

from the throat
of a peacock
crimson shadows

dressed up like a car crash Venus

feeling its stench
as it sickens and dies
tomorrow’s wind

lost in its emptiness …
a crow’s caw

dragon, your dance!
even the stars hold
their breath
