Famished are we

those who seek truth

Gnawing sensation

wreaking havoc within

Incessantly fed

with crumbs of untruths

Malnourished and starved

between lies and distrust

We hopelessly grasp

at scraps of what was

Wishing and hopeful

we devour each word

Longing for sustenance

to nourish the soul

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
