Heart of Seasons

The soul of June leaps
from Spring’s shadow,
a buried chest of treasures.
Golden sunrays crawl
like yellow butterflies.
Bluebirds kiss turquoise sky,
as Marigold’s milk-white offerings
blow to a snowy heap.
Trees hug, stare at maiden breezes
circulating their lush-lime leafiness.
Cumulus, laced with vanilla cream,
drip with pearled drops
of immeasurable beauty.
Papery Papavers slumber
in moonlit darkness
as shooting stars arc the Heavens.
