She did the best she could do,
With the tools that she was shown,
She tried her very best,
Any damage caused unknown,
Bad intentions never,
Her love was always there,
Unintentionally hurtful,
Abandoning,
Completely unaware,
It’s hard to understand,
Even harder to forgive, not hate,
But the choice is yours to try,
A new beginning does await,
She is your mother after all,
She did all she knew to do,
Always well intentioned,
However misguided it could be,
Always strong and always true!
