In Mumbai

In Mumbai

written by: Nazim ZarSinner

Life was fine – when was with me that teenage girl in Mumbai
I lost her somewhere at coast – I lost the pearl in Mumbai

Embellished with goddesses is Heaven of the Night
Go ahead, O my Sunken Heart! do not swirl in Mumbai

Every face has many untold blue stories in deep eyes
Ah! Unique is each fragrant room – each hair’s curl in Mumbai

What are roads for a tourist who wants to fly in high airs?
Rails, traffic jams and narrow lanes were hell’s burl in Mumbai

What I had been doing in hotels for a month near sea
What’s so special? a houri – do not unfurl in Mumbai
