It’s In My Nature
written by: Fotoula Reynolds
As I gypsy-dance
Through fragile visions
I fall on love and
It’s better than a dream
Have you ever gazed
At a morning’s fine mist
And felt it blessing
The earth and you
Autumn slowly passes
Winter gathers herself
And in constant change
Instincts are unknown
My youth lives somewhere
Behind my eye-lids and it
Sinks into a rippled past
Hiding secrets from me
Baby bird feathers
Downward sway
Strangely twisted
Moments falling
In stately places
Dreams are unfinished
Making light of the dark
I search for something
