The Landing

written by: Anne G

We traveled the Universe

free, unconfined.

Spirit and intellect

inclined, intertwined.

Seekers of answers

of infinite kind.

The whys, how and if

all undefined.

Soon, body and conscience

beckoned us back.

Urging return

to our corporal design.

The landing aligned,

the purpose ~ unsigned.

Why write?
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." - Oscar Wilde
