This Rare Gift

written by: Kenneth Vincent Walker

This rare gift you've been
Given was never intended
To be hidden, but to glow.

Releasing this sublime gift
And alter ego to envision
A truly exhilarating cause.

Many gifted walk in shyness,
Even more timid than you.
There are more than you know.

This rare gift is your vehicle to
Transcend beyond your fears,
And Insecurities, and flaws.

Your gift is a beacon of light,
A beacon of hope, and of life
In a spiraling world of woes.

This rare gift you've been
Given was never intended
To be hidden from applause,

And to burn brightly, and glow.
