I shut the door
Avoiding you
Knowing once
You'd never breakthrough
And yet you've seeped
Slivered in
Turning the knob
To retrieve
My heart
Once robbed
How can I breathe
When you took
My breath
How can I feel
When you burned
My flesh
I sit
In misery
For my soul
Still broken
To mend whole

Aspiring writer/ poet.
Consumed in a blunder of my chaotic mind.
My thoughts, my expression now ink on paper or letters on a screen.
