Who can write these words?
one who sees beyond the color
hears behind the cymbal
feels beneath one’s touch
Feeding just enough a progress
sensing when it truly grows
challenging its stubborn will
sorting out kernels from the chaff
Our thanks can take a single form
will not conform to precedent
ignores expected bows and ornament
leads instead by prideless silent vigil
