She takes fragmented pieces of herself,
and shifts them onto a color palette.
Then paints on the canvas,
a subtle form of art.

You can capture a person,
but not an idea.
She has erased her existence,
and transformed into an abstract.

Once concrete and incorrigible,
restricted by physical boundaries.
An individual now becomes,
ephemeral and intangible.

Some brush strokes are wild,
like a fleeting gazelle.
Swift and unstoppable,
like a cheetah with an insatiable hunger.

Others are mellow and tender,
like a mother bear cuddling her young.
Or the snow monkeys,
soaking in hot springs.

She got carried away painting a picture.
The colors merged into a mosaic,
she could not herself decipher.
Red was pain and celebration,
Black was despair and delight.

Yet, there was harmony in the contradictions,
and the image came to life.
As the colors crossed their jurisdictions,
she became larger than life.

So, her soul was captured in the creation,
and her senses took flight.
Her corporeal being evaporated,
behold! what a sight!

If you wish to look like a clown,
paint the colors on your face.
But if you are ready to metamorphose,
A mural will take your place.
