Broken Muse Talks

If I could have grown wings
I would have loved to be
Like the mighty wind king
The bird of higher soars
Up to the site of the high hill
Hiding away from predators
Those that hunt me like folks
But foes in disguise killing
The little light of the day
The one they imagined
They seek to draw me
Down not soar as my call
If I could have been a bird
I would have loved to be
Likened to the eagle more
Phoenix to resurrect again
Because I am dying off
In silence and oblivion
Where darkness is light
And light is chased after
